Jessica Alba
Jessica Marie Alba is an American actress. She began
her film and television appearances at the age of 13 in Camp Nowhere and The
Secret World of Alex Mack (1994) however she became famous at the age of 19
when she became the main actress in the television series Dark Angel
(2000-2002), for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. Her big screen
breakthrough was with the film Honey (2003). She quickly became an established
Hollywood actor and has appeared in numerous box office hits in films which include
Fantastic Four (2005). Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Good
Luck Chuck (2007). The Eye (2008). Valentine's Day (2010). Little Fockers
(2010). Mechanic: Resurrection (2016). [9She has also been a frequent
collaborator with Robert Rodriguez. Alba was a part of Spectrum's action-crime
series L.A. Finest from 2019 until 2020. Alba was a co-founder of The Honest
Company in 2011 The Honest Company is a company that sells household, personal,
and baby products. Magazines like Men's Health and Vanity Fair have also
included her on their lists. Jessica Marie Alba was born in Pomona, California,
on April 28, 1981, to Catherine Louisa (nee Jensen) and Mark David Alba. Her
mother is of Danish, Welsh, German, English and French ancestry and her paternal
grandparents who were born in California, were both the children of Mexican
immigrants. Joshua is her younger brother. Gustavo Arellano is her third
cousin. Her father's Air Force career took them to Biloxi, Mississippi and Del
Rio, Texas before they returned to Claremont (California) when Alba was nine
years old. Alba spoke of her family's conservative character as being a
traditional Catholic and Latin American family. However Alba reveals her
liberal views since she's identified herself as a feminist from when she was
five years old.
