Will Ferrell
gained fame as a member the cast of Saturday Night Live. After the show,
Ferrell appeared in many other big-screen comedies such as 'Elf'
"Anchorman," and "Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in
Irvine in the year 1967. He started his comedy career as a member the Los
Angeles-based group The Groundlings. After his highly acclaimed seven-year
stint as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, he was one of the industry's
biggest comedic draws through off-color hits like Old School (2003) and
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also co-founder of
the streaming video site Funny or Die and enjoyed the success of voice acting
in animated films such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was conceived in
Irvine, California on July 16th 1967. Will Ferrell was the eldest of Lee
Ferrell, Righteous Brothers keyboardists and Kay Ferrell. As a University High
School student, he was not exactly a class clown. Ferrell was a quiet student
who chose to be a professional football player. He set a school record in terms
of field goals he scored. In the more cozy surroundings of his suburban
residence, Ferrell displayed little of the outrageous, humorous bursts that
would later define his career.
