 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. After moving to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actress in her early years as a child. Her most well-known work is her appearances on AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (from). In addition to her commercial appearances, she was a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub is also the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she left antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. She began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five because of the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she dropped out and earned a GED. She went on however to earn a Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and studied improv comedy.
