Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991), known by his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American musician, rapper, songwriter and record producer. He has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012),[3] and an EP self-titled in 2014 in association with Capitol CMG. His debut album on major label, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22nd, 2016. It reached number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have received many awards, such as the Gospel Music Association Dove Award (Therapy Session) for Rap/Hip Hop Albums of the Year. Perception was ranked number one in the United States in 2017, and the third single, "Let You down" was ranked 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the U.S. and was also a top 10 worldwide hit. The Search (2019) was his second album. He had similar commercial success. Feuerstein stated that rap was as a way to escape his childhood. He would record songs using an karaoke machine, recording both raps and instrumentals using one microphone. Feuerstein was his real name, released Moments his debut album on November 29 the 29th of November, 2010. The first single, "Alone", came out on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt, the song's producer and songwriters, were featured in the song. In 2012, the work of Feuerstein was noticed by Xist Music. Feuerstein released his debut extended play I'm Free on May 2nd 2012, and Profitt was the producer. The tracklist contained nine songs, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version of "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist was talked about their self-titled extended play NF. But Feuerstein quit his contract with the label and production of NF has been delayed. NF still featured a song featuring Shuree William "Only One", on the compilation album of the label. Move Vol 1 On November 4 in 2013, he debuted "Beautiful Addiction", a single. Profitt was heard again on the track as well singing by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
